INSTRUCTION FOR USE

Blot away any excess blood or exudate from the wound.

Tear open the package and remove dressing.

Press the sponge directly onto the source of bleeding. Apply pressure manually for 5 minutes or until the bleeding has stopped.

Pack the wound tightly with gauze pads. Leave the dressing on for a maximum of 4 hours or until treatment in a hospital is possible.

Use several pellets and insert them into the wound until the bleeding seems under control. For penetration wounds, also cover the back of the wound completely and tightly. For severe wounds, cover the wound with a hemostatic sponge..

Apply pressure for five minutes or until bleeding is stopped.
